Refund policy
Returns & Refund Policy
At BootKamp we build modular aerospace-aluminium storage and camp kitchen systems to a high standard, and we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains your options if you need to return a product. The benefits given to you by this policy are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Change of Mind Returns
Most products sold by BootKamp may be returned within 14 days of the delivery date for a refund or store credit, subject to the conditions below.
- All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number before the product is sent back. Contact us first to request one — returns sent without an RMA may be delayed or refused.
- Products must be returned unused, uninstalled, and in original condition, including all packaging, fittings, hardware and accessories.
- Freight charges are non-refundable, and return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at your cost.
- A restocking fee of up to 20% of the product price may be deducted from your refund or store credit to cover return handling and re-boxing, particularly where packaging is damaged on return.
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method once the returned product has been received and inspected.
Products Excluded from Change-of-Mind Returns
The following are not eligible for change-of-mind returns unless they are faulty:
- Made-to-order, custom or vehicle-specific items — including CNC-machined components and systems built or configured to your specifications.
- Products that have been installed, fitted, modified, or used.
- Clearance or final-sale items, where marked.
Bulky and Heavy Items
Many BootKamp systems are large and heavy. Please contact us before returning any bulky item so we can advise on safe packaging and freight. You are responsible for ensuring returned goods are adequately packaged and protected in transit — any damage in transit on a change-of-mind return may affect your refund.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrectly Supplied Products
If your product is faulty, was damaged in transit, or was supplied incorrectly, this is handled separately from change of mind and the conditions above do not apply:
- Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and, where relevant, photos of the damage or fault.
- Where a product has a major failure (for example, it is unsafe, significantly different from its description, or unfit for its purpose), you are entitled to choose a refund, replacement or repair.
- Where a product has a fault that is not a major failure, we may choose to repair it, or provide a replacement or refund.
- For faulty or incorrectly supplied products, BootKamp covers return freight, and no restocking fee applies.
Your Australian Consumer Law Rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. These rights are not limited by any time period stated in this policy.
How to Start a Return

- We will issue an RMA number and return instructions.
- Send the product back as instructed, keeping proof of postage.
- Once received and inspected, we will process your refund, store credit, replacement or repair.
